My Grandfather was an Herbalist in Thailand.
So many moons ago.. when I was only 5 years old. I still remember a man who tought me how to look around in nature to find a cure, if i had a little “boo-boo”. He was a simple man who always had a smile on his face when he carried me around our yard. He taught me: “Every plant has a benefit, even some of the unwanted weeds.”
He was my grandfather whom I miss so much. My medicine man..
Several years ago…I got injured from an auto accident. It left me with pain that I was on several pain madication most of the time. Desperate searching for the answer of my cure for years, I went back to my family root and remember what my grandfather had told me ” You ‘re your best doctor, understand your body wisdom and you will know how to treat yourself”
My name is Sasha, a native Thai. Growing up in the family of the healers, my grand father was a herbalist and my great grand mother was a Thai massage master who was trained while she was a young girl in the palace. I was familiar with Thai herbs as a child. I’m also a holistic practitioner for pain management. Our company is mainly helping Thai village people to create income opportunities for things that have been Thai traditions for 1000’s of years. We seek to remedy the situation where the real village people do not benefit from their ancient wisdoms. With my family, friends and other connections, I ‘m traveling from village to village all around the country to look for good herbalists and studying ancient healing recipes so they will not be lost.
